Having a little fun with pop-ups!

With just a day left before break and not enough time to start a new project, 6th graders learned about Robert Sabuda a native Michigander and world famous Pop-up Artist.  They are working on creating a pop-up creature of their own.

Designing guitars

7th graders are starting to design their identity guitars.  They are looking up images and thinking about how best to represent themselves through form and design.  We are just getting started and will begin construction after Christmas break.

smART sheets

6th graders are wrapping up the Folk Art unit completing their smART sheets.  This is a pre-post knowledge sheet, that is used to collect student growth data.  It shows what they knew before we started and what they learned at the end of the project.  They also write a paragraph that tells about how they made their project.
