Pinch Pot Monsters!!  

Students are busy adding details to their scupltures.

Gnomes

7th and 8th graders are starting to sculpt some gnomes.  They are at the beginning of sculpting the body, head and legs. They are going to add something to the gnome that represents themselves.  Excited to see how these turn out.

Signatures and Pamphlet Stitches

Today this 6th grade class sewed their signatures(packet of folded pages) into their sketch books using the pamphlet stitch.  Everyone was able to get their sketchbooks finished.  The ticket out the door today was to write down in their own words, what a signature and pamphlet stitch are.  Next week in Art, they will be able to decorate their sketchbooks.

Math and Art Today

Today this class of boys were working on the cover for their sketch books.  They had to measure with the ruler to make half inch borders and a two inch pocket.  They were all successful making their covers.  The best part was watching them help each other if needed.
