Animal Update

7th and 8th grade students are making progress on their animal sculptures.  Many are wrapping up the  final layer of paper towel.  Others finished the final layer and have started to paint. We are so excited to see these get some color.

Warm colors in the circle

Another 5th grade class working on their trees.  Today we reviewed warm and cool colors and ways to color neatly.  Now they are picking out warm colors to use in the circle around the tree.  It's great to see that every color combination is different for each student.

Folk Art Paintings

This 6th grade class has started to add the liquid watercolor paint to their projects.  Take a look at the beautiful colors that we are beginning to see.  Excited to see these finished and hanging on the walls.

Construction begins...

7th and 8th graders are starting to design and create 3d animal sculptures.  They sketched out their ideas and had them approved.  After approval they are able to begin construction.
