Final Presentation

6th graders are preparing their art work for display.  They measure the size of their work and then use measurements to find the size of the borders on the black paper.  The final step will be to sign their names and help hang art work I. The hallway.

Folk Art

6th graders are working on creating a folk art landscape.

Perspective

Students are working on creating space in drawings using one or two point perspective.  We discussed the use of horizontal, vertical and diagonal lines.  They are getting the hang of it.  :)

8th grade students are working on a creating a line with variety, then they will add color and paint with watercolor.  All the strips will be woven together to create a collaborative piece.
